The ceremonial lamp lighting by dignitaries and the principal Dr. IV Mamatha inspiring speech emphasized the values of dedication and discipline in nursing education. Subject-specific presentations by faculty members provided clear guidance on key topics, including Adult Health Nursing-I, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Pathology, highlighting their clinical relevance. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Manasa, ending on a note of unity with the National Anthem, leaving students inspired and well-prepared for the semester ahead.

The NSS Unit of Sree Narayana Nursing College, in collaboration with the Community Health Nursing Department, organized a successful World AIDS Day rally on December 1, 2024, in Venkatachalam to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, reduce stigma, and promote community engagement. The event, supported by Rural Health Center staff and the village sarpanch, included active participation by NSS volunteers and community health nursing students who carried banners, distributed pamphlets, and engaged residents with vital messages about safe practices and healthcare access. The rally concluded with a closing ceremony at the Panchayath Office, where the village sarpanch presented an appreciation certificate to the college for its contribution to public health awareness. This initiative effectively heightened awareness among the rural population, fostering education and a more informed community response to HIV/AIDS.
